I took the red clutch plate for my monster and used it on my Hypermotard -- I kinda thought the red looked bad after I got it.  Anyway, I have a gold Evo slave cylinder, so I'm thinking either gold Oberon with silver caps or silver Oberon with gold caps???

Any other suggestions that'll be around $120 (or less)?

Underneath the tank cover, it's gloss black with the old school cast aluminum winged badge.  I'm also going to wrap the headers with black wrap when I get around to it.  Also, the exhaust hangers will be modified chrome triangular hangers from the Sportclassics, again when I get around to it...  And the chrome ring/bucket will be the same blackas the tank, again whne I get around...

I have gold pressure plate on a black/black S2R.  The gold really stands out.  Just my 2 cents.

The painted plate looks pretty good. Almost like the caliper. The Oberon plate might stick out because it might be a lot shinier than the painted plate.

it doesn't look all that hot in real life.  Embarrassed

I did it to see how gold looks but you are right, it doesn't quite match a true ano gold billet plate so it's till hard to tell...   Undecided

I am not a fan of the smooth oberon clutch cover. It looks dated, and well it is an older design, so I guess it should, but I still would never choose it.

Now the Oberon Cyclone cover seen here - http://bellissimoto.com/OberonClutchParts.html and in the pics below would definitely be one of my first choices.

Re paint your pressure plate black and use the gold spring retainers on offer. Get stainless bolts for the spring retainers if you haven't already. Understated and cheap!  Grin
Put the money saved towards any of the following: light flywheel, clutch basket, suspension work, Flatslide carbs or pistons. Flatslides would be first priority (performance and economy).

Great to see an older carb model drink
