Finally got the forks back in the Monster. Wheel on and new brake pads. Still in to get the dash back and do a good once over.. but she's almost back.
While on my windows VM - TuneECU is dutifully downloading the current, bone stock EFI and EPT maps from the KTM in preparation for uploading the Akro map. Other nice features - click of a button will disable the O2 sensor and SAS - buh bye!
So I've got the KTM cables - and Jim, this also works on Triumphs. Though I believe you need a different cable.

Just so you know, clicking the box won't actually disable the SAS. You'll still get popping on the over-run until you actually remove the system. Ask me how I know.

Going back to that - what did you try before you pulled the SAS tubes?

That's the place. Funny you should mention the Germans; there was a group of them getting a little rambunctious for a birthday party last night. Interesting lot.

I think it's the same cable... and with the proper adapter, you can use the cable for ducatidiag on the monster and other ducs.

Germans hell! It's the Poles you have to watch out for. Those crazy bastards got kicked out of every NATO watering hole down in Asskrackistan due to the fact that they couldn't keep from tearing the place to bits after the third round of vodka.

I don't remember exactly what all I did before hand, but do remember that it never really had any significant effect and I ultimately had to just rip the system out to get the bike to stop. Then there's the issue with KTMs using graphite gaskets in the exhaust that are notorious for leaking and causing a few backfires as well...

I meant to the end that attaches to the bike being different. I've got the chipped ODB2 cable with a USB end and then the ODB2 to KTM side - just not sure what what connection's needed for a T

Ha! When I was there we saw packs of them roaming around. One place we walked into had a table with around 20 of them singing a drinking song while the staff looked on kinda freaked out. The hostess looked at us with a sort of "sorry, we don't know how to make them stop" look. Shows you how much cheaper it is to drink there that people fly in!
