De-electrofied the Guzzi. Luckily I was only 2 blocks from home. Was testing it after putting the shorty black mufflers back on (looks the business) and it lost all electrical. I'm guessing a relay or just a bad wire since the entire thing is out - no ignition, horn, lights. The only thing between the battery and lights is a relay and the fuze box, and all the fuses are good, so that narrows things down. I hope :)

Check for a main fuse. I know ducs have a fuse box AND a 30 amp main in a different spot. That main pops and all powers cut
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

De-electrofied the Guzzi.

Changed tires and tubes in the GS: got a pair of Shinko 705 on the outside and IRC heavy duty on the inside.

Breaking the bead on the front was pretty easy (just by standing on it), but the rear was a real pain. Jumping, whacking with a rubber mallet, and sidestand method didn't work, I had slowly pry it off with the irons! [bang]

The proper way to inflate a tire!  [laugh]

No pics of working on the rear, but this is pretty close!

In the end it all worked out fine so  [beer] for me!
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I've found that car jacks work pretty well as bead breakers, when shoved under a pipe protector in my condo garage. ;D

Re-electrofied the Guzzi. Must've caught a wire to the ignition relay jack taking-off/putting back the tank at some point and slightly pulled it out. Wiggling wires and watching the power flicker led me too it. I did the highly technical toss-o-the-offending-bit and just wired directly to the relay. Not sure why I put the jack in anyways.

Oh, and I get some advice yelled at me by some horse-trailer lady. Or maybe she meant one of the n'er do wells standing next to me.

You had better be careful.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
