Swapped the triple on the Daytona with Randy's help...and it didn't fall apart on the way home! Grin

Jim,
I found 1 triple bearing in the garage....did we put the lower bearing on?

I wanted to do that. Instead I had to run a 5K. Pancakes afterwards though!

which 5K did you do that they had pancakes afterwards?

I was like Jim, and looked at the weather decided against my 6mile run today....instead I took a Jazzercize class and got some indoor cardio and strength training!

Ellen's Run. They didn't supply the pancakes, but there was a ton of free snacky-cake afterwards. Tried some coconut water (all the rage lately) ... meh.
Nice run in that it wasn't the over-produced multi-bannered giving-fest that a lot of events seem to have become.

Just Ride!

« Reply #2466 on: October 10, 2012, 06:11:15 AM »

Took the SS out to go for a ride.
Found I needed to tighten my chain (embarrassingly loose).
Did that and saw that I should lube it (rust is not a lubricant).
Did that and thought I should check the oil. It was low.
Topped it off and realized my plate was expired!
Renewed my reg on line.
Went for a ride (late) and got some some fine Nahwlins' cuisine.

So in short, I ate a shrimp po'boy for lunch!
I think that I just missed you. My wife said that some riders that knew me had stopped by about two minutes after I left.

Yep. Ben talked to her while Lars and myself stuffed our faces. I really like the red beans and rice.

Didn't talk to the Mrs, but the girl behind the till (I think her name was Dana?).  Excellent food though!!  My taste buds wish you were closer to home.

Me too! Its hard to get just one thing. Between the specials and the regular menu, I have a hard time deciding what to get.

Today I learned that Ducati runs a positive cable from the battery to the starter solenoid that is mounted so it rubs against the engine and eventually (after the insulation wear through) dead-shorts in an exciting way. And that when smoke starts coming out from under your gas tank people back away quickly!
Thanks everyone for cable-searching, bike fixing, bump-start pushing and general awesomeness!  waytogo
Next time we're out at a weeknight thing beer's on me!
