Belcamp. Gonna be quite a commute to start... not sure how long that will last.
Congrats. Good thing you have a fast bike.

Thanks. My "fast" bike isn't....still at the shop with a charging problem...even after the R/R was replaced. Supposed to call with an update tomorrow.

Congrats on the new job Jim. Does this mean less riding or more for you?
Re: being stranded.....The front brakes were a little soft, so I Battley work on it. While Tech reduced lever travel to engage brakes, he gave it too much. To their credit Battley picked up the bike last night, worked on it and made it right today. The Tech felt pretty awful given weather last night, visibility and issue with bike." He apologized profusely and to her credit mistakes happen. All is good.
On the other hand, Battley found that the bike is weeping oil from the vertical gasket......Called DucPond today to discuss why it's weeping after dropping $1,500.00 for service and I wasn't at all impressed with their response. Net net, if I want them to look at the issue, I have to find a way to get my ride down there an according to them, Facebook might be my best friend if I don't want to pay to have it towed! NO BUENO, NO NO BUENO!!
Should have bought my S4R...you'd be riding it instead of having maintenance problems. Sorry to hear and hope it all works out.

+1 I wish I had your asking price.....If it didn't have some sort of issues it wouldn't be a Ducati
Colder weather is here so at least I am not missing out on riding time. That would have made me even angrier.

That's normal, it's just marking its territory!

Had Kenny@MRP Motorsports look over the suspension and make some adjustments. Very patient guy who took his time explaining things to me. I planned on installing a 944 kit this winter, but now I think it's time to invest in suspension mods.

Kenny at MRP is really great. Spent some time on the phone with me yesterday. He was going to sell me a set of 07 ZX6R forks with a 20mm Ohlins kit in them, but realized they has GSXR fork legs on them after I paid. He called back and made it right and offered to swap the internals into my 07 forks for an amazing price.
I am going to have him do the suspension on my CBR 600RR too which will come with a season of support. Hard to beat imo.

+10000000000000000
He set up the suspension on my touring bike and I'm taking the Monster there this spring.
Great guy and very reasonable prices

And more love for Kenny ... I had him spruce up the suspension on my race bike and twice at Summit he came over to my pit to help me set it up and answer some Qs I had. It's the good follow up that impresses me. Nice dealing with someone who treats their customers well.

I learned the chicken wing maneuver and can finally see behind me. I always thought it was a down-and-in elbow and have been trying that without success for a while (I thought y'all were just really flexible). I even put some convex stick-on mirrors, to no avail. I accidentally found the elusive up-and-out variation while trying to scratch an itch on my elbow. The clouds parted and a beam of light shined down upon me. Don't all

Redline in Yorktown?
MRP is 35 ish miles from DC. Yorktown is 16X... So for the folks living in the DC metro area and Balto, doesn't make much sense to go to Yorktown.

Ah yeah - it's FAAAR to get from here to there. Also getting from DC to the VA Beach area can be quite a painful drive as you're going through a lot of potential traffic trouble areas.
