Shined up the tank and seat on the RD400.  Cleaned up nice!  Chrome parts are pitted and fe-d.  The license plate expired in 1982.......wouldn't be surprised if the gas is that old.

Both front and rear are locked up.  So far all I've time to do is clean it up and get rid of the backrest.

Duct tape! Those tires have patina, man. (For replacements I like the Avon RoadRiders - although might not be sporty enough for the mighty RD)

What year is it? It's in really good shape. If you lose the backrest you wont have that sweet zippered pouch. Just sayin'  ;D

Haven't decided yet. I love a ratty cafe bike but I think this bike has really good bones and low miles.

I am in the research phase.  Thanks for the Avon tire suggestion.
