Started one of these in Desmotropic a while back, so why not here?

Took Darmah down to the dog park for a few hours so she could run run run.   Couple of pretty ladies down there.

Then went to check out Coleman Powersports.  I know they don't have the best rep over here, but I was impressed when one of the employees actually told me to take my bike out to Doug at Ducpond for servicing.  That gets a thumbs up.  Plus, seeing as how they are a "local" dealer, I was thinking about hitting them up to help host some local rides...

Which park?

I hoofed it around Denver playing tourist and seeing how it's changed since I last was here/lived out west. Then played some more catch up with the cousins I'm staying with. Found out they are big BSG fans too

Which park?

The one in Shirlington.  It's only two miles from the flat that I will be living in, so it's nice and convenient.

The one in Shirlington.

That's the best dog park in the area. Crazy mobbed on the weekends. There's another dog park upstream - Carlin Springs, I think - that's nice and shady. No fence there, though.

It is a really nice park, with lots of room for D to go stupid nuts.  LOTS of pretty ladies down there today too.   Grin

DRKWNG, that's my park!  I live a short walk from it - looks like were neighbors now.

If you didn't scope out shirlington village, you should. There's a bakery that sells doggie biscuits called Best Buns. And just a couple weeks back a place called Dogma opened up there on the lower lever. It's near Bungallow Billiards.

I'll be headed over there (best buns) in the AM - drop me a pm
if you see this. Also we could coordinate looking at the A* pants.

Rode 200 miles by 10AM. Tongue

Right now I gotta feed the baby (4 months) and, after, go buy the wife an anniversary gift (6 years). Vino!

Looking forward to riding with some fellow CAMers tomorrow! [moto]

Spent about two hours down at the dog park earlier today, and DAMN if there aren't a lot of pretty ladies down there.  Keeping Darmah is panning out to be one of the better decisions I have ever made.  So glad I kept her instead of the wife.  Wink

One box came in with half of my riding gear as well.  I'll be going back to Coleman's to test ride that new Multi soon.

Walked around Old Town with Darmah during the early day, had brunch and a few drinks, then went back out later with D to Shirlington Center and did the same. Over all a good day.

Installed a Trail Tech Vapor on my bike over the weekend. Mounted it on an aluminum bracket with a few LEDs... fun times!

Worked as a VIP/Press mule at the Air Force Cycling Classic this past weekend. Saturday's race was in Clarendon and Sunday's was in Crystal City. Not only did I get paid to do it, but I got 2 free nights at the Crystal City Marriott and a loaner 2010 BMW 1200GS Adventure (with about 100 miles on the clock) to ride all weekend from race sponsor Battley Cycles. Awful darn nice of them to do that for me and the other mule driver who had a loaner 1200RT. I think I got the better bike. The GS is an awesome bike to ride around on in a city environment. The slow speed control and manners of this bike are impeccable. It's also very capable on the twisty backroads too. I got to thrash it around a bit on mine and Lar's favorite AA county roads.

But...

It's no Ducati. So therefore not even a consideration as a replacement. Maybe a stable mate when I can afford a used one.
