Doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but it's a great place and the food is just awesome! The chef and maitre d' are both Sicilian but the food is from all over Italy.

LOVE THAT PLACE. You're right, it doesn't look like much of anything from outside but I have always found it to be great food.

Dropped the S4R off at DucPond in Winchester Va. Even though there is a Duc dealer 10 miles up the road, I drove 2.5 hours one way to get better service.

Changed the oil, filter and front/rear brake pads. Shops make no money on an oil change. Supplies alone cost between $70.00 - $90.00.

Just downloaded tuneECU onto the lap top. Now all I need is a USB to OBDII cable and I'll be able to load a different map onto the SD.

Stripped one of the intake valve cover bolts on the horiz cyl balls. This could be a real hassle. On the good side, Rear suspension is in good order.

Are you going to have it dynoed and custom map? Or just an existing map? I've been looking for one with the motohooligan airbox and sas blockoffs.

There are quite a few maps being shared over on SD.net. I'll probably download a few of those (from people with similar set-ups to mine) and see what happens. Ultimately I'll get it dyno tuned, but I want to wait until I get a MH box as well, and will need to find someone who's familiar with tuning off of tuneECU.

The SD has an OBD2 diagnostic plug?

Ok, slightly different. There is a bespoke cable for this project that uses a 6 pin connector on one (KTM) side, and then an OBDII on the other. Then you use a USB to OBDII adapter and voila.

I don't know about the roll eyes..... When I had the Gixxer with the PC3 it was a straight PC3 adapter plug cable with a USB so it would go straight to a computer. None of this two different cables that finally lead to the same thing. Sheesh. Talk about having to make things more complicated than they need to be, unless, of course, if that is just what has to be done to make things work.

And the difficult complications are why I "rolled my eyes". But then again, this is a bike that took close to three hours just to change the battery.

Maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. That thing was a MAJOR pain in the ass.
