Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Lol.  Thanks guys.  Weather is great here.  Been getting drunk everyday.  Going to do some scuba tomorrow and then renting a car and going to Playa Del Carmen the following day.

Brian, you're right, at some point inevitably, I will have to move to Arlington when I have kids and can't afford private school, lol.

I've been searching for some  Dolph rentals, but there isn't much available around here.  It would be nice to take a little day trip.

Crappy cell phone photo of one of the little bastards I had to hunt down yesterday.

The gray-red (stop light) and other wires had rubbed enough to affect each other. I also got rid of those joints, soldered them properly and heat-shrink wrapped them with dielectric grease inside.

In the course of about 7 hours I replaced some older wires and covers, did a bit of cleaning/re-routing, cursed a bit, then a lot, fixed up (again) the rear left turn signal, drank 5 bottles (just over a gallon and a quart) of mountain dew, zip-tied anything I thought would move/rub against its neighbors, and used enough Gojo to make my hand feel smother than a baby's ass! laughingdp

the frightening image is of your rubbing a baby's ass with 1 hand and then feeling the other hand for comparison sake....

Snapping Like a Squirrel

Lowside on the Aprilia last night...Through a sweeping right hander, debris in road and slid out from under me at about 55 mph.  Broken rear brake lever and rearset, slider and swingarm spool saved the bike.  My gloves saved my hands, shredded the arms and scarred the back on my leather jacket, ripped the toe on my A-Stars boots, and shredded my brand new textile pants I bought Friday.  I am bruised up, but no scratches or anything on me....thank god for decent gear that worked.
