Ben, it wouldn't be the same without you.

Whatever.  Quit flirting.  ;)

I will try to pick up the pace.

The pace has been fine actually.  You will see in time that I will chase the proverbial carrot, so just keep on how you've been doing it.   [thumbsup]

Weather forecast looks like Saturday will be a better day for riding at the moment...  Stay tuned...

I just checked the weather and it is looking like 103 degrees.

Is anyone still interested?

As fun as your roads are... I was a maybe anyway. And with it being over 100, I'll pass.

I think I could brave it, if you don't mind a slower rider. Tuono . . . eh,  sugonaut, are you still looking at Sunday in the "cool" mountains or signing on for the Saturday broiler in south Maryland?

Unfortunately, I can't do Saturday. But, ya, I'm headed to the mountains on Sunday.

Lars D

Tomorrows ride is going to be moved to Sunday as it will be too eff-in hot .

So Sunday the 25th at 9:30 and stands up by 10:00.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm still planning to ride west tomorrow. I have an epic-super-duper-long route, and an abbreviated version. Depending on how we feel at the start, or during lunch, we can adjust the plan. Lots of shade and elevation to help beat the heat, but it'll still be hot as Hades. As always there's a chance of PM thunder.

The long route has us up on Skyline Drive which is $10. The abbreviated route skips Skyline but still runs through GW National Forest.

Meet at Silver Diner in Clarendon at 8:45'ish. Stands up at 9:00. We'll slab it out to zoddamn Haymarket where the fun begins.

I'm in. Sounds like fun. I'm hydrating already.

Slide Panda

I'm a bit on the fence - but I'm prepping none the less. Hydration and salts

Pondering time travel again?

Time travel is easy; I'm considering fastforwarding to Fall.  I may stop by ye ol' Diner, but doubtful I'll head out to the mountains.  Though I could ride the approaches to Skyline all frickin day!  Love uphill turns.
