It's running about the same as it was before I dropped it off.  Maybe a touch smoother, maybe not.

Back on topic, is anyone else going to make it out for tomorrow morning's ride?  Roger, you really need to come hit some of these roads with us.   waytogo

Sorry, just saw this.

I'm staying home today, rest then clean up time. Speaking of which, here's a photo of my helmet after being showered by suicidal mosquitos:

Oh and I'm also trying to convince the wifey of the necessity of a few more parts for the bikes Wink

Nice pic. I forgot to take pictures before I cleaned mine up, but there were a few that had eaten recently and left red spots. I also had one huge ass something that left green goo all over my visor...and the palm of my hand! Too bad I wasn't hungry. Smiley

Meh...gives me something to do besides listen to the voices in my head...

Hopefully, some of that mess will get cleaned up by next weekend since it's supposed to be BEAUTIFUL!!! Must get gloves without mesh for that early morning chill.

Get some good gloves, better if gauntlet style!

Mesh are OK for riding around in the city, but the protection they offer is in-line with a pair of jeans and sneakers.

True true.  I am really fond of the Held gloves.  They are put together nicely, and seem to hold up well.  Spidey says that they are good crashing gloves, and he would know seeing how he has thrown quite a few bikes down the track.  Another plus is that they come in half sizes.

I love my Alpinestars gloves, they fit my short fingers perfectly!

Most other gloves either have too long fingers (I feel like Edward scissorhands) or numb my hands Sad

Jim, I think I have an extra pair of Astars gauntlets in my storage room.  You're welcome to come dig through the stuff and find them if you like.   Cheesy

Thanks to all for the suggestions! I've been meaning to swing by a dealer with a decent selection of stuff and try some on so I know what size to get, but haven't done it and didn't think about it while I was at the Pond. In the meantime, I'll take you up on your offer, Ben. I'll touch base with you Tues or Wed and see if we can figure something out.

While I have you guys off topic? Which dealer do you guys think will be most helpful with replacing the tank on the s2r? coleman, battley, speed's? or should I plan to make a special trip out to the pond for it?

Which one is your dealer? If you don't have one, go to the one closest and if you don't get satisfaction raise bloody hell with DNA, it's a recall issue and covered. - Gene

Ok, so what's the plan for this weekend?  It's a long one, and the weather looks splendid so far.  Who's riding where?

I'm riding somewhere and bringing the gixxer pregnant dog with me. Grin Least she says she's coming. Might be up for both days (Sat and Sun). University is open on Mon, so I work.
