Is the Sunday ride going to happen?  Same time, same place?

No kidding!  Really good ride today guys!  I hope this doesn't turn out to be the last of the season, but it sure would have sealed it off nicely if that's how it turns out.

That 1125CR has some scoot to it.

Anyone heard from Jim?

Probably the best ride I've done all season.  Thanks for leading guys.  I snagged some of the routes on my phone so I can go back and check them out again.  Next year you'll be seeing a gold front wheel in your peripheral vision as we enter the corner!   STUFFED!!!

BTW, anyone who wants to try to discover those routes in the WV panhandle, I'm down because I just remember how amazing the were.  I do remember passing Romney Cycles on that route.

Sorry I missed today. Slept later than normal thanks to a little vino.  Grin Fortunately, I got out and got some riding in. What a beautiful day!

I hope this doesn't turn out to be the last of the season...
Blasphemy!! Just order some heated liners for my gloves, so I'll be getting some extra days in. Plus, I come with my own insulation courtesy of  bacon!

I'm just as worried about road temps as I am anything else.  Those tar snakes were awfully slippery this morning...

Yeah it's not as much an issue of keeping you warm, but the bike. Tires will be hard and stay that way. Also, if your suspension setup is good and a bit agressive it's going to be rather harsh in the cold. I was definitely feeling the thickened up oil

why do I get this image of you pulling the oil out of the motor and laying it out and massaging it to loosen it up before putting it back in to go riding?

That'd been nice on whites ferry road as it was trying to pummel me.

I ride all by myself Cry
Was all the way out on River Rd past Potomac where it turns into Sherwood Forest Primeval and I see this wild pack of Japanese sportbike riders. Must have been 20 of them. I decide to join 'em for a bit as I get lonely sometimes. Well they didn't like it. They start leapfrogging me, doing flybys past at high revs and bein' kinda assholey. The road surface out that way is way lumpy-dumpy so I decided to abort and turn around. They were riding a little too slow anyhow. They all had flat spots on their rear tires.
Need to find some peeps to go out riding with, sick of riding all by myself.  boo

I went right through there to whites ferry and further west. I posted up - you should tune in man.

Join them? Did you inject yourself mid stream?

Any of you wimps riding this weekend? I've got new tires that need the little rubber hairs ridden off of them. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to run the wire for my heated glove liners as well. I'll be sure to remember to keep the revs high so Zooom doesn't have to come push start me. laughingdp

I've got new tires that need the little rubber hairs ridden off of them.

They're called Chicken Strips.
I never thought of them as hair, but, I could see that.

Now what kind of hair would it need to be to stay true to the idea that the rider is scared, a chicken, a wimp ... Maybe cat hair?  What do you guys think?
