Good ride despite almost dumping my bike on that section that had the gravel.  I am sure the owner of that property will not mind my tire marks in the yard.

Which section? There are so many?

It was definitely on the way back when we went as one group before the first major stop sign.  Full pucker face was in effect.  First time I've ever had that happen to me.  Spooked me  Shocked

It'll give them the chance to plant some potatoes. Didn't even hear about your off-pavement excursion until we were enjoying a few cold ones over burgers at Matt's house. Did you at least put a foot down and back it in?

Great ride guys, especially considering the number of folks that showed up. I'll do some rudimentary video cutting today.

Enough to grow plenty of them! Should go by for some french fries next time we're out there! laughingdp

Since it's ok and everyone is ok in the end, I guess it's ok to say how it was pretty funny to see Wunmi motoing and ducking for branches! waytogo

Hey if nothing else it proves I know how to ride with confidence despite hte terrain and obsticles (riding on grass with pine needles on the ground ducking branches all while on the Duc).

I'm sure your view was interesting Massimo..... [moto]

Actually... holy shit that looks like Ben... that dashing bastard.

Video looks absolutely stellar. Got a good one of Jim straightening a turn and Matt backing it in through a slippery roundabout. Plus some sexy... sexy.... footage of the Dorsoduro.

^^^ that would have been some good video, bet the pucker factor was in full effect.  I liked that Penske set-up on your bike too.  I stopped for gas on the way home and some redneck was like " What kind of dirtbike is that?  Why are there street tires on it? How do you say that...Appp-rye-leah???  I said yup!!!!  LOL

I had to scoot over to Georgetown this afternoon and when leaving this big feller (with a Texas size cowboy hat) asked quote - "is that one of dos italyan bikes?" His buddies reply - "yup it's foreign..."

Rendering. Yeesh.

You sound like my boss. "Why don't you have over two hours of high res video totaling around 12gb cut down into a concise 15 minute highlight reel complete with subtitles using a 5 year old laptop that was never intended to or spec'ed to handle HD files? What do you mean you can't do it in 5 minutes? It looks pretty easy to me. No, we won't buy you a new laptop even though we expect you to meet these already absurdly unrealistic demands."

Yes. One of those days.

Dealing with extreme incompetence today. Not that it's really all that unexpected or uncommon, but for some reason it's annoying me more than usual.

Yes, even I'm interested in seeing it. I'm hoping to learn from watching my mistakes make the beast with two backs ups before one of them kills me!
