Short-n-sweet. Any gravel in the turns today? You got very lucky on 211 given it was a weekend. I've heard of warnings M-F but not on a Sat/Sun.  |

I've heard of warnings M-F but not on a Sat/Sun. -There was some dirt on Smith Creek where people come out of their driveway, but not bad. -I was surprised too with the warning. I was super polite to the officer, never handed him my military id, but since my addresses were different I referenced being overseas and layed my id on the tank while getting my ins/reg and license. I told him everything I was doing from taking off my backpack, helmet ect. There was no-one else on the road at the time, so not sure if this was taken into account. |

West is good . I've grown fond of western MD & PA lately. There are just a ton of great roads out that way just waiting to be found. How about a breakfast run to the Cozy Inn in Thurmont,MD then head out to PA from there or maybe south to Harpers Ferry. |
