I'm sure some folks could make something happen. [moto] I don't think anything has been planned as of yet. This could be a good place to start one. waytogo

That day is my wife's best/closest friend's birthday. I am for sure something will be going on but sometimes it's just all the girls getting together without husbands and kids. I'll see if there is anything in the works on that front. Otherwise I'll just watch the thread and see what gels. My forecast predication is that it will be hot and dry. laughingdp

All it takes is a spark to start a fire.  I should have that Sunday off.  What part of DFW do you live in?

I'm in Farmers Branch. I'm off this Sunday but did not
look far enough ahead for the 27th. More info later.

I'm a one trick pony when it comes to leading a group ride; Muenster Run on Sunday?  I've added about an hour loop up into Nocona so it would be about 5 hour day.

This coming Sunday is Father's Day so maybe a trip up Muenster way would not be a bad idea.  I'm all for it if there's any interest.

As far as a Sunday ride on June 27th; anyone aver considered a banzai one-day blast to the Talimina Trail and back?  Leave early (around 0'dark:30) then have a mid-day lunch break at Queen Whilimina Lodge then on home again.  It would be a long damn day but once you were on The Trail, life would be good  Grin  Lots of slab/overhead though so is a one day Talamina Trail trip of interest to anyone on Sunday June 27th?

Heck, make it a two day trip, up and back. Stay at the lodge if there is room. I've done that 2 day ride a dozen times + and I stay just north of the drive in Poteau. My neice's hubby and his friends stay in some cheap motel in Mena when they do it.
