anyone else watching?

The wife and I have watched a few games (can't watch them all...at work). I think the Ghana v. Serbia might of been the best playing I've seen so far.

We've got our own brackets going on the white board in my home office. I'm ahead so far on game picks. After each round, the person with less correct picks has dishes duty for the next week  


We're still trying to come up with a grand prize for the winner over all on picks

I have watched most of the games so far. Germany put on a clinic yesterday. Getting ready to watch Italy vs Paraguay shortly. Those make the beast with two backsing vuvuzela horns gotta go.

I LOVE THEM!!!!

I'm sure I'd hate them if I was on the field trying to communicate with my teamates, but I'm not. I love how the stadiums sound like a bee hive. If they become a common sight at games in the US I'll probably regret ever saying that I liked them, though.

Still...leave it to the french to blame their bad playing on plastic trumpets and goofy high tech balls!

i've been watching as many games as i can (was a bit late because of the game this morn ) and have been following themon gamecast since fox soccer doesn't load at work  


got to watch the germany game yest with a whole bunch of germans. that was awesome. except for the 3 aussies that were there. they didn't enjoy it at all.

waiting for italy-paraguay to start so i can waste more time at work.




and the vuvuzelas have to go. at USA-turkey there was a kid a few rows back that had one. he almost got beaten by everyone around.

1. The Italian team is a bunch of cocky pricks. They won't defend their title
2. England's "dream team" are a bunch of millionaire all star babies that can't get a long; they'll lose
3. The USA will lose as always. They blow. Soccer is not a US game. Sure, it is popular at a young age, but most then turn to the Big Three: Football, Baseball, and Basketball.


by the way, when did people here become soccer fans?


i have never seen so many Team USA Soccer shirts and jerseys this past weekend.


If you watch soccer great..........wear it all the time.

I despise the trendy ones that become fans when the Cup comes around



I haven't watched a game yet.

I played that game year round for nearly 19 years. I've seen and played enough. And it has literally destroyed my body by the age of 30.
