Hello all, after 3 weeks I finally stopped in to Ducati Austin and purchased a 2008 ducati 1098s (red). Currently this bike resides in the garage with a 2006 gsxr 1000 and a 2003 honda cbr 954, with all three bikes together you can see the ducati lines still stand out. After riding the bike and putting a total of 53 miles on it I brought it back to the house and turned the bike off, moved all the bikes into the garage and when I went to start up the 1098s it wouldn't start.
The bike acts like it just doesn't have the power to turn over the engine, all it does is make a click and thats it. Im sitting here waiting for the road side assistance to pick the bike up and deliver it back to the dealership. On the phone the service clerk was telling me that this could be a cell problem and a new battery make fix the issue /fingers crossed. I do hope I will be back on this bike tonight and up at the meet later on....if not the gsxr is going to have a little fun.
Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.
