After much delay I received the Givi A780 windscreen and installed it.  Installation was simple.  This past Sunday I went to Summit Point Raceway and tried it out.  Excellent!  applause  The buffetting around my shoulders is gone, just clean air over the helmet.  The bike is naked, so when putting a knee out before a turn I could feel the push.  My goal was to eliminate the jostling on the straight and the A780 does that.

Not sure about the Mother Alien look, though.   Roll Eyes

Pics?  Sure!

The last one is my bike and my GF's bike (the red M696) after we got back from Summit Point.  She rode out, but it was a hot, steamy day so she opted to put her bike on the trailer for the trip home.

i wish i could get a Givi A755N Fairing in hand to see if it would work on the M1100 before comitting the $189 i know its got the round cut out for the old style round head light but i think the curves might work well with the lines on the 696 1100 tank skins.
mounting would be a chalenge  i think. I dont know.

that isn't a bad look, very mv agusta brutale looking in a way.

maybe if the lower half was painted it would look a little better sorta make it stock looking.

I see a side steering stabilizer, what kind is that? Someone was asking about one on some forum.

Blue tape:  The track organizer I ride with, Team Pro-Motion, requires a strip of tape with name and shift style (standard, or GP) on the tank.  I think most places require this -- makes it easier for the guys showing up if you biff.

Damper:  Ohlins from Kyle Racing.  Works good, though I can't say I have deliberately tested it.   Roll Eyes

BTW, I was at the NJ Motorsports Park today.  Darn, the 696 likes the track!
