Why would they do that?!?

Is it a way to make sure people don't confuse the 899 with the 1199? To make it seem more lower-spec? Once they engineer the swingarm for the 1199 is it so much more expensive to fit it to the 899? The 748 shared the swingarm with the 916/996 and (unless I'm wrong) so did the 848 with the 1x98...  Huh? and  vomit

Single sided swing-arm is heavy = affects handling, plus more expensive to make. You're probably right in the 1199 bs 899 thing; they don't want to deter folks with deeper pockets from getting the 1199.

I hope all involved in the decision to implement this get cancer.

from zoooms wapo article:

"Police and elected officials maintain that it’s not about the money. The cameras have made roadways and school zones safer, they said."

Boat is on the hard.  Have some outboard servicing to do and need to replace stereo speakers in cockpit and put in new stereo inside, etc.etc.etc.

No walking on the ice for me this year.

we will find a day to do enchiladas just for you guys.  Perhaps a "rebuild the PVC frame for the lift" afternoon?  Can be in the late fall or early spring.

Also need to do a Ferrari drive somewhere between us for a winery day or something.
