Robert Rodriguez has something to do with it and from the previews it looks more like the original. Not sure if I can buy the Adrien Brody as as merc, but it looks cool and it's a perfect movie for me to see alone.

My guess is because they're pretty much all old, washed up actors?!

I'm sure it'll be about as good as The A-Team movie.

They've all been in huge movies recently (except maybe Li).


This movie looks bad ass.  I love old school action movies.  To much CGI now days.

Sometimes you have to take a movie for what it is- an action movie where acting is optional. Nothing more mind clearing than 90 minutes of straight up action.

You haven't seen the movie yet so how do you know what to take it for?!  I REALLY hope it will have GOOD action!  
I recall many movies though including Last "Action" Hero being filled with not-so-much mindclearing action.

Plus, we don't even know yet how "over-the-top" the CGI effects will be?

Excuse me..I should have said "old, washed up actors and wanna-be actors/wrestlers".  

So..you have 3 out of 8 (really 3/10 since Charsima Carpenter and Randy Couture are also in it).

Li-I like him but what has he done lately?  Was he ever an A-list leading actor here in the States?  

Statham- I like him as well but he should have left Hollywood on top after the first Transporter movie.

Rourke..He's good too but how can you say he wasn't washed up?!  His bio doesn't say much for memorable movies from about '90-'04.  He's really had a lucky break after The Wrestler and Ironman II.

Hollywood is going all-out CGI for Sly's muscles so you might be disappointed.
