Just picked up a set of

My questions is.. Do you need to take off and dismantle the fork to install these.  Just wondering if you could leave the fork in place, siphon out as must oil as you can, replace internals, add oil and done.  Has anyone on this board installed a set of these yet.  Let me know, much appreciated.

its easier to take it all apart to work on it, either way your going to need to support/hoist the front end at the triple.

I installed a set and wrote up some info with pics either here or at the old board - it's been a while.  Nice parts.  I recommend that you pull the current forks for a proper job.  You'll have the front end up and the axle out anyway....just three more pinch bolts per side and the fork can be easily removed. Getting the old guts out is easy, but installing the new parts will require some means of bleeding the cartridge, setting the oil level and compressing the spring while you thread the rod to the top cap.  It's all routine if you've been into forks before.  I bought the traxxion service kit, but if you're handy you could craft your own stuff.  Holler if you need details.
