I received this text message from my son yesterday.

" So now that schools out, I see all these kids with their parents in town, rolling their eyes, disinterested and looking all around turdy. And it makes me have to apopogize for when I was like all those kids. "

It's been fun to see him go through life.

He went to Humboldt and sort of adapted the  general "make the beast with two backs the man" attitude. For the last year he's been working for the state processing welfare claims, and now he sees that sometimes the fist pumping protesters are nothing more than lazy drunks/drug addicts who choose to live off another mans hard work.

It'll be interesting to see where the Navy takes him.

HEY! You wait one second there mister! Don't go throwing us lazy drunks in with the welfare scammers. We go to our jobs and do the bare minimum to not get fired just like the rest of you. Plus we have the added pressure of hiding a chemical dependency. I'd say we earn OUR money.

what he said... ;)

Easy to wave them when they're so....

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
