I was cruising the Triumph web forums and noticed a lot of talk about a program called TuneECU that is free software that allows you to re-program the ECU with just a $25  OBDII cable.

Here is a link: http://www.triumphrat.net/ecm-and-fi-tuning-help-tips-and-tricks/141608-tuneecu.html

It looks like an awesomely powerful piece of software.  I've ordered my cable and am looking forward to playing around with it.  That said, my Ducati is my bike with all of the mods, and I was wondering if anyone knew of anything similar.  It seems like it could revolutionize our ability to tune and tweak our bikes.

It might be worth getting in touch with the authors to see if there is a way to modify the software to work with Ducatis as well.

I would imagine it would be a matter of time before we have this type of thing for most ECU's.
Let us know how it all goes.

I e-mailed the author.  I'll let you all know what he says.
