What is?

This month's Cycle World also has an action picture of the bike...it is clearly an Aprilia SXV.

Just like the commercial with a white 848 being jumped through an explosion...it is clearly a dirt bike made to look like an 848.

Only after I try it.

That way I can get "pain and suffering".

If I spill a hot coffee on my crotch during the jump, I can retire!  Cheesy

subframe attached to air?  footpegs attached to motor??  red and a black guard on the left front fork?  custom crafted chassis with a different configuration than a Hyper? really?

Seems like a big hassle for no real reason to me. I don't see why people would be surprised by a bike more suited to doing jumps being used...and made to look like the sexier Ducati (nevermind Ducati likely being a paid sponsor).

Paid sponsor... ROFL.. Yeah, doesnt happen. Not like you think it does. There isn't budget from a small mfg like Ducati to spend a million plus to get a placement in a movie. hell, even the big four tend to reject most of the placement ops that come their way.

Would you really want to see a CRF450 jumping through down town?

Understand that Jimmy did that jump several times, with the dummy on his back, on the SXV, with NO helmet, no gear, no wires, nada. Just his skill as a motorcycle rider and stuntman.

WAY too crazy for me.

Ok then...Ducati didn't pay for the placement. I agree that it's not a photoshop and is an SXV made to look like the Duc.

Chopping the tail... does that become a wet bum mod the same as it does on a Duc?
