I've always been dreaming of carbon but now my dreams is coming closer to reality and I'm doubting, maybe titanium cans will look better... :-\

Any opinions on this?

Heath

which dark and what exhaust system?
I had Titanium Zards on my s2r 800 and they looked very good.  Ended up switching to some Carbon Termi's which I like better.

There are some people on here that have titanium Termi's on their M696 and it looks very good too.

I use carbon in most cases- but I have titanium cans on my red 996R, black 999R and black SC1000.

I think they all look good. The Ti really stands out on a black bike whereas the CF blends in on a black bike.

I really like Ti with dark bikes if it is a cool looking exhaust as it pops out more. If it is something like a stock exhaust I'd rather it be black so it fades away  [thumbsup]

dark....only carbon fiber! It just goes with the bike! Remove any exhaust decals also!

I bought the Alu Termis because I think they look beter on a Dark, now I wished I'd gone with the CF ones for the sound!

I think the alu sound better in most cases because CF pipes require more packing.... ???

The Alu Termis have a more booming sound to them; the carbon ones are more throaty. The booming is also reinforced by the closed helmet and for me has reached the obnoxious level. Carbon ones have a lighter crispier sound. To each there own taste I guess.

Then get Titanium. No reason to fight with your wife over a sensible decision!
