Hello!

I just figured out this is the place to be! I was wondering why everybody kept saying they were jumping ship on the old DM board. Now I get it.  And now I can be a new member on the new board! Glad I found ya'll!

My name is Rebekah aka yeloducmnymph.

Location is East Bay, Alameda, CA.

My ride is a '97 748.

Now a brief riding history:

I've been riding now for about six years and the first three years I rode in San Francisco on little beaters. I got my first Ducati, an M620 dark, in 2005 and rode the hell out of it, then realized I wanted something more. My next Ducati after that is my current ride, my '97 748. Certainly, this was a big jump, but I've felt confident moving onto the superbike -though I will complain its riding position is totally uncomfortable in the city! My riding style has changed a lot, I've had to learn how to use my body more. So far for having this bike almost a year I really dig it! I'm definatley infected with Ducati and can't get enough!

After I'd owned my M620 for about a year I moved to the East Bay and slowly transitioned from daily commuter to weekend rides. Now that I'm an East bay-er and I tend to ride in my cage when I commute, but I try to squeeze in rides at least twice a month. Gotta get my ride when I can  Grin

I want do a track day this year if possible (it'll be my third one, first one on the 748!) and I look forward to going to La Ducati Day again this year.

I'm always looking to meet cool, Ducati people in the Bay Area and look forward to meeting some of you!

Oh yeah!!!  A studly dude named Dan is a huge part of my Ducati love affair story... Without him tinkering on beat ass '79 gs 450 I surely would've eatin' it ( from all the nuts and bolts falling of ), not seen the inside of Munroe's , and not be afflicted with my expensive Ducati habit. THANKS DAN!  Roll Eyes  No, but seriously, Dan is awesome and we luh him  cheeky.
