so i know that there are things i don't know, and that's fine...but if there are things i don't know that i don't know that's bad.

but the level of the things i know that i don't know is high enough to keep me out of trouble...i think.

Somehow the NOS guy comes to mind when I read the article.  Also the fingers+cleaning chain guy

I have to admit that I had no interest in reading that article due to its length

but

upon seeing that sac felt it was interesting I read it

I figure anything that interests the hater-of-all-things  has to be at least...intersting

here are my thoughts

at first I thought it was an epiphanic read  (epiphanal really should be a word)

but

then it dawned on me that this amazing concept of an "unknown unknown" occures daily

Its the

what-better-way-to-learn-about-electricity-than-by-sticking-your-finger-in-a-light-socket

theory

I'm fairly certain that our personal "unknown unknowns" are what our fathers were so entertained by as we grew up

There used to be a 'too stupid to live'.  We've essentially eliminated that (Darwin Award contestants excepted) so now we need to establish a 'too stupid to breed'.

"I didn't know about the law" or "he's too stupid" was not a valid reason for escaping punishment for a committed crime.
Will this change in the near future?

You're in luck!  Little did the robber know, lemon juice only works on the west coast!  For most of the east coast, apple juice is required for invisibility.
