I am old school when it comes to cleaning and maintenance.

I use your general nitro solvent (Hoppes #9) and standard gun oil (Remington). I clean my guns every time I shoot or once a month. I enjoy breaking them down and getting to know them better. Sort of a escape for me.

Me too. I plan on having many zen like moments tonight and this weekend "bonding" with my guns and getting them squeaky clean and oiled. They need it as well as I. [thumbsup] [beer]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Live fire vehicle interdiction from a Helo tues night. I'll try and get some pics.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Jealous. Next to the 30 gunner slicing shit up from the side of a Blackhawk, watching live A-10 gun runs were my 2 favorite spectator sports when I was active.

This will be a single long gun shooter, taking out the driver, on NODS.

Thanks D! I've seen that stuff before but have never used it. I'd like to give it a try, might order some today. Does anyone in the DFW area carry it or is it an on line order deal? [popcorn]

Hey, are you old enough to have been using anything for 20 years? [laugh] [beer]

Check out my oil filter forensics thread!                     Offended? Click here
"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I'm still sold on eezox

Good article! I've used Bore-Store bags for years and all of my gun safes have a Goldenrod in them. I'd like to try the Eezox product too. I looked at their website and there was no one in my area that carried it... another on line order goodie.

The DFW area isn't as bad as the gulf coast (ie. Houston, etc) for humidity but it is bad when it gets warm/hot. My main concern is making sure I never touch any metal on the gun before putting it away. I had a Browning Buckmark that had my big ass paw print on the barrel years ago and I've never forgotten it! What's a pcp single shot?  I know nothing about these and have never seen one.

What's the gauge for?  It's not air powered is it?

<edit>  Googled it. Nevermind
