Been getting after it pretty hard. Trained a bunch of pipe hitters last week. Not sure where my round count is on the 2.0 compact. Probably around 10-12k, I'm really liking this gun. I've been switching back and forth with the 19, and like I said before you can't go wrong with either. (Shooters solution) I've also picked up a gig training an actress for an upcoming movie roll.

Good to hear the 2.0 is still one of your favorites.

How's the actress getting along?? Is she getting the hang of it?

She's getting there. If I could get her for more than an hour at a time, she'd be rocking. They're filming now, so I won't see her again till 30-31.

Concealed work today. 200rds, single shots from 10-30yds. Fundamentals fundamentals fundamentals. There's no red or blue pill.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Perfect weather today, so I ran 500rds. Name the drill, I probably did it. I did work a lot of tap rack drills into a mag change drill. (at least 100 of them') Tons of good manipulation skills when you tie those together. Fundamentals fundamentals fundamentals.

Headspace and Timing was off today and I left my key at home.  ;) Fought through it as best I could. All in all was able to get some solid work in.

Back at it today. I do a good amount of concealed work (carry everywhere, gotta train that kit). I have carried in all the positions over the years, but carry appendix now. (No comparison in getting the gun into play).

I had been training the actress to clear a cover garment (leather jacket) and drawing from 9 o'clock (devil handed), but after seeing her in full 'costume' I noticed she has an untucked shirt under the leather. Tad tricky to get it clean, basically two draw techniques simultaneously. I dry fired it at nauseum and shot it live today. Now I gotta get see if I can get her looking respectable.

I just started playing with appendix carry myself. Really liking it with my G43, but haven't figured it out for anything larger.

Shouldn't be an issue with a 19 or similar. Try a looser fitting shirt, T or button up. The 43 will pretty much get you out of the situation though. Start carrying an extra mag also.

Went fox shooting a few nights back. Three shooters.

We got 5, two of which were mine. Missed a third with some weird ammo jam or such.

Tested the ammo today and it ran fine. On the night, I had a mix of ammo in the tube, so perhaps that was it.

Still a great night out with the lads though! ðŸ'ðŸ»ðŸ'ðŸ»

The real question is is Kopf behaving around said actress?
