Yes, these all apply to men AND women!!
Pay for a really good shoe shine once in a while.
Know what "your drink" is, don't be afraid to order it anytime, make sure Jagermeister isn't one of the ingredients, and almost any bartender can make it without asking YOU how to make it!
Know how to tie a tie two ways, (half-windsor & four-in-hand) and how to tie a bow tie.
Know how to properly shuffle a deck of cards.
Road Trip!
Drink water.

Hold the hand of your child as much as possible, close your eyes and remember the feeling for all time. Everything else is nominal.

Great thread!!
Always try to put yourself in the other person's shoes before you pass judgement. It keeps you humble, reminds you of how good you really have it, and fosters compassion. It can be easy to look down on others and make assumptions about those not living as well as you when you don't stop to consider their circumstances and the fact that they are human, just like you are.
Adopt from an animal shelter. It is a great feeling, and animals can teach us a lot if we stop and pay attention.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

more than one
accept the fact that some people are evil and need to die
accept blame
forgive yourself
seperate colors from the whites (in laundry terms only)
live in the present
learn from the past (that means listening to the old folk)
argue less
listen more
try new cheeses
push yourself
grow a spine and thicker skin
plant a garden
salute those who serve
tip the busboy personally
for every complaint letter sent, match it with a letter of praise
attend the special olympics
donate blood
cut your own grass
replace the toilet paper roll when it's empty
step outside your comfort zone every now and then
go 150 mph at least once in your life
learn a new language
sing in the car
