I checked Monsterparts and they don't have any in stock. Is there another place to buy these things?

Unavailable?

Perfect - you must buy radial masters waytogo

I thought DesmoWorld had them, but I have looked and couldn't find any.

They're actually made by Corsair Industries, but it looks like they're out of stock too.

After no luck trying to find clipon spacers, I decided to make my own with a CNC machine. These are mockups, out of low density polyethylene plastic. They fit perfectly, and are a perfect 10mm offset. All I need to do now is find some 3/4" aluminum sheet to machine real ones. Trouble is I usually only work with plastics, and a sheet of 3/4" thick aluminum is kind of hard to find. I'll have to order it, and that detracts from the satisfaction of making it myself a little. Would be a lot cooler if I had some aluminum stock lying around. McMaster wants ~$50 for a piece 2.5"x12"x.75". I could get four pairs out of a piece that size, so if anyone needs/wants a set I could do it for $15 a pair plus shipping, which is a good $25 less than Monsterparts sold them for. Would help me offset the cost. Alternatively, if anyone has a scrap piece of 3/4" 6061 lying around that could make a few pairs, I'd be glad to send you some. I just need the spacers and nobody has any   :'(
Corsair Industries I assume isn't a functioning vendor anymore since they don't answer emails, and Chris at Desmoworld doesn't answer his PMs.

If you really want to get DIY, you can head over to home depot, grab some PVC pipe and make your own using a small saw and a dremel. That's what I did and it works perfectly  Grin

FYI the pieces I got from monsterparts were buffed smooth and powdercoated black to match the controls. high quality pieces, no gaps or spaces.

Well Monsterparts doesn't sell them anymore, and mine fit perfectly too, no gaps or spaces. Not that anyone would bother to look for gaps or spaces anyhow, nor for the smooth buff black ano 'hey look at my smooth black ano spacers!!!' Cheesy
As far as the PVC, um...no. I refuse to kludge my bike up like that.
Some would say just buy some GP radials with remote reservoirs but I'm getting some 999 radials which require the spacers as well. Hence my toil.

Sure, I would love radial brake and clutch systems... however I don't have $400-600 to spend right now.. my $40 spacers suit me well.

It may not be important to you but I want my control area to look professional and clean. Raw aluminum spacers between the black clips, bar, and controls would look like crap... At least rattle can the ones your making.

Hey bergdoerfer, where abouts are you?  If your in the States, check and see if you have a Metal Supermarket near you.  They aren't the cheapest, but, you can get as little or as much as you want.

As an alternate, I use a lot of 80/20 Aluminum Extrusion - I buy it all from their eBay store and they happen to have a TON of Al flat stock on their for pretty darn good prices (it's all off cuts for them).  Feel like I'm giving away a resource there...but, you should be able to find a big hunk to make your parts for less than $20. Like this piece of .75" thick x 12" L x 4" W for $10...
