Note the time change -- a few less rounds of racing to get through.

7pm.  Pizza will be ordered.  Beer will be served.

We went to see "Das Rheingold," by Wagner.  It's the prelude to Die Walkure (The Valkrie), Siegfried, and Goterdammerung, which all make up the story of the "Ring."

Ok, ok... I'm a bit of an opera nerd too. cheeky

Unlike DW13's pansy excuse, I have a justifiable reason for missing out on Sunday night. After watching a Moto GP race repeatedly for five hours at the D Store, it gets a bit stale. Tongue

+1 I will get in line on the Opera geek thing. Ya, even ballet.  I saw the Shaolin monks vs. Ballet last Sunday.

I bet Tigre never thought a race invitation would get hijacked into THIS!  laughingdp

Ya know, we could always turn this into the "Let's make Tigre's racing endeavors into an opera" thread. There's enough creative, equally disturbed, minds here. We could do it. We have the technology! laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Opera < Racing.

I'll be there on Sunday.  If it's warm like it is today, I'll also be bringing a blender and margarita fixin's and maybe some chocolate cupcakes.  Maybe. drink
