Oh, not trying to be exclusive at all -- just grumbling about my $hitty $300 map.  I agree that it would be great to exchange more maps among the community, provided that we all understand that maps can differ greatly by tuner and may not work on very similar bikes (and may even make them go boom).

I know what it costs to get your custom map done, but whats the difference?  you still have a custom map that works great for your bike... it won't necessarily make mine or anybody elses work great.

The difference is I had to shell out $375 and you have to shell out $0 lol

Hey I really want a no mar tire changer can you buy one but let me have it?
How about a trailer, I could use a trailer. (not really but worth a shot.)

Now I am not saying you shouldn't ask.  I was just trying to explain why everyone isn't shelling out there maps for free.
On a nicer note.  I have heard of people having good success with butt dyno's. :p  Load a map, try it out, note the flat spots and add a little to the numbers at that rpm.  Feel better? good  Feel worse? change it.
Eventually you can get something smooth.

Ditto the seat of pants dyno.  I bought my PCIII through FBF so I could get a semi-custom map from them to match something that closely resembled my bike ('02 900ie, low Arrows, cut airbox, K&N).  That map helped, but didn't impress me like I expected.  After spending some time making a few adjustments here and there I've got something that I'm fairly content with.

That being said, I'd love to check out or swap maps with Yuu out of curiosity as well.  I can't remember if we have the same ECU or not, or if there are other variables between the '00 and '02 model years.

While my bike runs pretty dang well right now, the idle is a smidge low so I need to pull my head out of the sand and check to make sure the TPS is set appropriately and the TB's are synched before I think that any PCIII adjustments will make things better.

I'll give butt dyno testing a try.  Any advice for how this should work?  I've yet to load the software into my computer, let alone tried to adjust anything at this point, so i'm going in fairly blind.

biggest problem i've had is that at anything more than very slight throttle it seems to run ok, but at very slight throttle, is when it starts to hesitate and pop at approximately 2-4k
