I've flipped my handlebars and have been fairly happy with the ergos.  I've been looking into replacing them with nicer ones and had even purchased some Driven CF wrapped Aluminum bars but the center was longer and ends shorter than OEM and I couldn't fit my controls.  Probably would have worked if I had piss cup masters as the coffins use more bar space.

Clip-ons are out as I have a DP top-mount damper which uses the handlebar clamps as a mounting point and don't really want to have the bracket there looking out of place without the handlebar.

I've found some nice adjustable clubman style bars but they only come in 7/8" (22mm) or 1" (25mm).  Since the OEM Magura bars are 1 1/8" (28mm) at the mounting point I need to find some way to mount the clubman bars.

I've searched and can't find anything.  I'm hoping that someone knows if the S2R Dark Handlebar Clamps will mount on the S2R800 as the S2R Dark uses 7/8" bars.  Or, if not, does someone know of an aftermarket clamp or adapter that will work.

If nothing else, maybe I can have a shop weld a piece at the center to thicken the bar and be able to use the OEM clamps.  Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions.

In case you are curious, these are the three adjustable clubman style bars I have found.  I am leaning toward getting the Laverda Clubman Style Bars (last pic).

And here's where you can get them:

Will these work for you?  Not as low as the clubman bar, but lower than stock.

Huh?  Was there supposed to be a link or picture?  I don't understand the question.

My flipped stockers are lower than the Suburban Machinery bars.  Though I like the SM bars I would prefer the Laverda Clubmans as they are completely adjustable and would give me close to the same reach as I have now only with an even better sweep angle.

I emailed Suburban Machinery to see if they may be planning on making adjustable bars.  I just received two emails from Sally at Suburban Machinery.

Hi John,

Sorry, we have no current plans for expanding our stainless steel replacement handlebar line.

Thanks for the inquiry,

Hi John,

You might find a local machine shop to machine up reducer sleeves for the 7/8" to 1 1/8" change then, use the bar pictured.

I think that I may just have some reducers machined and go with it.  I'll post something up if I go this route.
