Zaster, the last ride down was awesome...thanks for the company Kawboy and Nick...was great meeting you Nick and glad you had a taste of NM's twisties...am sure you have a story for the NYers...u did well and survived...we should plan for the next weekend!!!
Good riding with you, Zaster, and Nicrosato. Just sorry I couldn't stay for round 2. Soooo . . . let me get this straight. Your idea of taking it easy to scrub in a new tire is to drag a knee on every corner??

Yeah!
I finally felt liberated with that new tire...may have pushed it a bit, but hell you and that gizmo scare the hell outta me everytime you hit a corner...Its like a Boeing 747 with one wing...dunno how you do it and keep it going with an easy to ride 1098...

747
?
No . . . no no no no. A 747 would be likened to a full dress Harley (pardon me for using that word on this forum) lumbering down the interstate. I think of it more like a supersonic B1 bomber with terrain following radar. YES . . . that's a much better analogy.

My first thought, looking at the big Kawi from behind before you all disappeared around the curves, was, "That guy can really handle that big thing."
I'd say F-14 was a more apt aircraft analogy.

Anyone this weekend? Sunday's weather should be OK. It'll be my last Sunday here until December.

You know I'm up for a ride, Nic. I'll probably ride both Saturday and Sunday if we get done with the balloons early enough Saturday.....but I'm definitely riding Sunday.
See me at Coffee at Dawn around 9:00 or 9:30.

Eagle Nest? low 22 deg. Sat & Sun. Is the Crest not going to be cold enough for you?

I'm down for a Jemez shot on Sunday if you are, JJ. CaD around 9:30....have a little coffee....ride the crest once....off to Santa Fe, then 4 through Jemez, then home. Sounds like a heck of a day to me.
Who's in?
