It's forecasted to be 60 degrees next Saturday. Is anyone going on the PJ's breast cancer ride? I want to ride along, get some free food at Thunderbird HD, then maybe off to Pietown for dessert, unless someone else has a better plan.

Post up some details, DD....this is the first I've heard of the PJs ride.  Where does it start?  Where does it end?  What kind of pie shall we have at Pietown?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Altitude or not they are still hot and riding. Jealous much?  Kiss

I like the fact that they are in full gear and friendly. I think I like it up here even though I miss the group. Smiley

Its the 3rd annual Susan G. Komen ride for the cure. It will be on March 6th (this Saturday). Starts at PJs at 9:00 AM. The ride takes off at 11:00 and lunch will be held at Thunderbird Harley. Then at 2PM, its on to Balloon Fiesta Park for concert, games and prizes. Its $20.00 per bike, but has live bands, comedians, 2 rock climbing walls, and an inflatable obstacle course. Also having a best decorated bike/scooter contest. The ride is police escorted. I went last year and it wasn't escorted. Hosted by PJs, Thunderbird, Birdland Hippie Store, Planet Beach Spa, and City of Albuquerque. Sounds like it might be something to check out!!! I'll be there.

Full gear and riding in COS?  yeah you are suffering from altitude sickness for sure.

These kinds of "Harley" rides aren't really my scene, but I'm down considering it's for a good cause.  See me there.

Oh Lordy!  As DucMouse says, we are so busted, Dusty, for not taking pictures of the geared-up riders.  When we started out on that fateful day, I was unaware of all the places we were going to end up.  It was supposed to be a job fair, then the Pikes Peak Workforce Center to get info on school stuff.  Next thing, you know we are hanging out on the strip, enjoying the first really fine day of the season.  I didn't pack my camera for once.  I got a shot or two of Dusty with my cellphone, but it seemed a little lame to take pictures of random bikes going by or any interactions.  We didn't see one Duc anyway.  I probably would have busted it out for that.

The ride leaves PJs at 11:00, so I figure to be there around 10:00 or 10:30.

Yeah could be altitude sickness. I did get only a couple of pics but like bonfy says, no ducs, alas.  As for the hot guys I think that is always subjective. Myself didn't find any of the bagger riders attractive but the ones on the sports...well I guess people look more attractive when you are feeling good (which I definitely was) kind of like when you are drunk (which I definitely wasn't). You'll have to make your own call. I still say "hot"!

Enjoy your ride Saturday and I still may have to resort to cupcake for now.  [moto]
