In addition to riding to work for a new  project  in NJ when I can (160 mile round-trip through metro-NY traffic... And I've come to realize that those "No Trucks or Buses in the Left Lane" on the Cross-Bronx Expressway mean nothing), I've decided to meet up with the NYC riders from this board Saturday. They're riding out from Manhattan to Oyster Bay where Billy Joel has a motorcycle shop/museum. Oyster Bay is a historic little village (first settled in the mid-1600's).

I will take some photo's of Billy's collection.

Where from NY/NJ are you from? I grew up on the south shore of NJ, mostly near LBI.

Long Island- Huntington, specifically, on the North Shore, which was called the Gold Coast a century ago. It is the prettiest part of the Island- not the typical suburban sprawl which most people think of when Long Island (birthplace of Levittown) is mentioned. And not the flat terrain of the South Shore, either.

Oyster Bay is one of many villages with harbors on the North Shore off Long Island Sound. It is about 15 miles from where I live. I am looking forward to viewing Billy Joel's collection of bikes.
