Picture this... Took my rugby knee pads and stuffed my teknic shoulder pads into the knee cap area. Knees protected. While I was so full of great ideas, put my off road chest and back protector over my jacket. Did about two miles to the crest when I realized I could not really move and had to turn around. Time for a suit and real gear I guess.  You guys would have had a good laugh.  applause

Fall is starting to hit here in the Northeast, cool mornings, afternoon temps perhaps reaching the low 60's. Took the '01 Monster for a ride Saturday & noticed that, in some areas, the leaves are changing color while others are still a dull green. There are some pretty places to ride on Long Island's North Shore, though it's hardly a place to go fast.

My rear tire went thread-bare this morning, so got a 180/55 pilot power put on. Anyone down for a scrubbing of my new rubber?  Dolph

I'll scuff your rubber, Buddy!   Evil

Saturday?  Where and when?  It's supposed to be back up into the mid-60s by Saturday, according to Steve Stucker.

Depends on the overnight weather scenario...snow equals sand and gravel in the road

Cry May not make it this weekend too...have my chain and sprockets at Scotts....Looks super cool! Ordered an alternator cover, there was a hole a thumb could go through when the chain splashed...Real lucky the motor case missed by couple of mm's!!!

The weather is chilly sick in Santa Fe... the 550 route to Jemez is perhaps best!?

I'm assuming from the weather that Las Alamos is probably gonna be bad..

but if you did 550 to jemez back a couple of times might be fun  Dolph

True, but hell I could end up in a red suit soon (Still have my cast iron red suit!)... Wink I still keep some red  Evil...helmet/gloves/knee pucks. Black works as good camouflage when the  Police swings by the blind corner and thinks he/she just had an illusion of an extended hood...as I swing by below the car and get others in trouble...
