RED DEVIL PROPELLED WITH LOUD DESMO~~FIRE~~

« Reply #4140 on: September 03, 2013, 12:06:14 PM »

How's the SV project going, JJ?  Any unexpected things?  Almost ready for Roebling?!?   Dolph
Believe it or not, all it really needs are some hand grips, right lever, fairing mounts, tank dent fix and some work with bondo and fiber glass resin on fairings. The frame slider bolt went through a practical application of theoretical bending, buckling and torsion... Grin Saved the bolt for some FEM Professor, they would love to get their hands on them! Its now replaced and levers on the way waytogo  Am getting ready to start sanding the fairings and doing the fiber glass repair. Bike went through a good wash and I'm looking to get the right fairing mounts or make them myself & reuse the shark skins. It rides good, though without the front brake and no plates, I didn't try speeds beyond second gear. It is no Ducati, but pulls great, sounds awesome and starts easy. One track day will tell me everything I need to make this a beast and occasional racer! waytogo Dolph

Thanks for a nice weekend, Guys!

You, Sir, are an evilsunuvapregnant dogteaser.  Now I'm sad 'cause there's nothing in New Mexico to compare with the Cherohala Skyway.  Sad

Have fun.....and take a stab at the Warwoman for me.

Our ride back is over to Cashers to Highlands then down Warwoman to Clayton. From there we'll head over to Blood Mountain with a stop at Turners Corner for lunch on the way to Dahlonega. I may do a ride out west in the spring and hit you up to show me some of NM.

Yeah...  Right...  I've ridden w/you K.  You *CAN'T* fool me.  I think the LEO's radar gun only went up to 71 and you were actually doing 110 or so.

We're easy to find, and the roads out here aren't bad...they're just not the frikkin' Skyway!

Holler when you're thinking about coming out and we'll be sure to have a reception set up for ya.
