not too surprising for a first edition SL with intact original 2-piece wheels.

no, like a walrus.  they were gone.

Nice to see the SuperLight go for a good price.

Those were the 39mm flatslides anyway - the 41s are the one to have (unless you've got a 750SS) :)

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Nothing says you can't start one in your local area.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Don't argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Heh, I remember seeing it when Bianca was still in many pieces...  [laugh]

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I want it, but I really am leery of it... I don't trust the bottom end, and it's a '92 which means before they fixed the oil pressure issues (the older 2v had external oil lines for a reason).  Also, he's used the same photo for the last 2 years, so I have no idea the actual condition.  Rotting in a garage?  He originally listed it for 850, it's just too much for an unknown.  With a pair of heads, I can inspect the chamber and valves.  This, I have no idea.
