"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Still, it'd be a cool collectors item. Love the "Tech-7" / striping and the radiator on the top.

I actually like the thermo-electric idea.  I think you'd need the neck of a linebacker to hold up a 5lbs lid though  :o

I'll eventually be posting my 750 up for sale on CL, tho. :-\
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

Still got the stock, spoked wheels from my SC sitting around, collecting dust.  Just sayin...   ;D
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

So... theoretically speaking... Are those the steel outers or the aluminum? Tubed correct? 25mm hollow front and rear? Wonder if they would fit a certain bike in my garage...

I've actually got the entire front end, including forks and triples as well.  And they're the alloy rimmed wheels.

My front end is sorted and I have a set of four pots waiting to go on which will stop a bit better than the SC stockers so I'm sticking with that setup... I think the rear is wider as well... might be a pipe dream but I'd be willing to give it a go.

Sometime we need to figure out:
- Will the calipers clear the spoke
- Is the rotor offset right
- If the rear is wider what would need to be done to make it work

I'm a BIG fan of spokes on a Monster, might be cheaper to go Alpina eventually. Also, the SCs are tubed right?
