"Reality TV" hasn't been the same since COPS and Rescue 911 went off the air

"Being Bobby Brown".....wow what a show how could I have forgotten that one?

It was horrifying not so much for Bobby Brown but more for exposing Whitney Houston as something closer to a Hunts Point Crack-ho,,,,, rather than America's sweetheart

I am inclined to agree that Reality is its own category and as a genre it has a collective suckocity

I know this thread is meant for TV shows, But I have to throw in a movie because I feel it is somehow related.  The movie "Idiocracy" at first mildly amused me, but as I watched it a second time, it kind of startled me a little bit.  And now, as I walk through daily life that movie horrifies me as I slowly watch the premise of the movie become a reality.  The basis of the movie, for those that haven't seen it, is a man is frozen in time for like 500 years and awakens to find that all the intelligent people of the world have limited the rate as which they reproduce, while the uneducated and moronic have multiplied at ever-increasing rates making "intelligence" a recessive gene.  I highly recommend  watching this movie, then cringing in fear as you watch the "man on the streets" interviews on your local news!!
