noticed alot of the california cabs they were showing were more fresh, fruity ones. not so much my style, since I like big oak and more structure if I'm spending $40+ on a bottle. I hope that's not a trend. although, I suppose that's why I see myself tending more toward the old world. meh.

that's true of california wine in general imo.... it's why i'm not a napa whore....

taste like make the beast with two backsin fruit juice to me...

Sadly she went to a better place. SHe was kind enough to leave me with a good buzz and lessened motor abilities

I still like the fruit juice, but I don't like paying bunches of cash for it.

hooray 2000!

it is... but my point being that these 2006 releases were even more decidedly light and fruity. almost 'green' on the palate... if that makes any sense at all.

terroir make the beast with two backsing w/the vintage? or market trend?

I hope it's just the vint, because some of my favorites do still come from your state  Wink

that 95 silver oak is so not gonna taste like juice  Evil young cab should be big, and in your make the beast with two backsing face...
