that reminds me. i miss rat900.
he had a great hookup for "apple brandy"   Grin

Ni....my stuff was coming from old Popcorn Sutton through a friend...back when I was living in Sutton's "backyard" so to speak...cleaner shine could not be found

the proverbial well ran dry when the Federals treated him like he was in the same league as meth lab operators

they make no distinction between an old mountain tradition and a contemporary blight that is destroying lives.

Popcorn was facing hard time when he checked out...

http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/mar/16/moonshiner-popcorn-sutton-dead/

If you have any of it left, treasure it...it is an irreplaceable piece of a mountain legend and a disappearing way of life

here's another better link about the guy whose stuff you and Howie got a taste of     http://www.victorianvilla.com/sims-mitchell/local/vis/suttonp/

007 martinis this evening with some fine cigars and good buddies

that bar doesn't include the scotches

hmmm, i see now were low on vodka/tequilas.  absinthe is next to the kahlua, it was cooler before it became legal

I rode into work today.

get it, rode, in...

I worked until 2:45AM so make the beast with two backs it parked in the Marketing room. It's my stable now.
It's a perfect example of 'shiny red.'

Not Vespers, though I do dig them, but I've run out of Kina Lillet.  007 martini is equal parts gin and vodka, splash of vermouth, 3 olives.  The combination is nice.

I also bring my bike into my studio sometimes, I often work late into the evening and through to the next morning, and if I'm the only one here I like to bring it into the back hallway.  More than once I've walked out at night and a homeless fellow will be napping close by.  Homeless people are like the raccoons of the metropolitan area, always going through your trash with their furry faces and opposable thumbs.
