sorry if they have already been posted
there seems to be one new photo of the front of the bike (i haven't seen in previous leaked spy shots) although it does look airbrushed ?

Ok, so I see:
- What look like fold away passenger pegs?
- Twin cans, that are one peice
- New style clutch case
- Obvious water cooling
- Monsters ish light seat and controls.
- ABS

Anyone else pick up on what's going on here?

Would this really be all that different from an 1100 Monster?

Well, I don't hate it. But I can't say that I like it, either.

I'll test ride it. I doubt I would get rid of my Monster for it, but it looks interesting.

Air ducts on the side of the headlight? (with safety wire??)
S*R style tapered bars.
Not digging the cans...  Undecided

This is the usual response to any new model here. All models except the new Multi, mostly because the old Multi was so freaking ugly, were completely trashed. The outrage when they redesigned the Monster. All the comments when they presented the Streetfighter. Where are those comments now? Once it's released and people get a chance to take a good look and test ride it, then people drink the Ducati kool-aid

Possibly.

In my defense, I didn't trash the new Monster like everyone else did...and I don't think the new Multi looks much beter than the old one, just different. I'm not a huge fan of the streetfighter looks though I'll admit.

This just looks like an ugly bike, with a huge rear tire. I don't get it. That may change when the final version is unveiled though.  coffee

In my defense, I liked the streetfighter when the spy shots were out and I never liked the new monster (compared to the older style/lines).  That is 2 for 2.  I will go on record and say that this bike does not look all that refined right now (so i may like it when/if it happens) but in its current state, IT IS UGLY! With its current state being "refined" i still think it will look ugly especially with the cans and the curves of the bike.  Looks....bleh and I dont think I will like the final product.  This of couse is my opinion and that is all it is.  Others are entitled to theirs.

Like I did with the new Monsters, I'm reserving judgment. It's not a finished product. There's bits uncovered that will obviously have body work, there's wires hanging out etc etc...

THough I will say now - that if that's the final exhaust, it's a bit of lose. The exhausts on the new Multi are cool and make a lot of sense... these er.. why a double can look that's actually one big stonking bit of metal...

I think it would look a little better with a streetfighter set of double cans. Or, as the previous commenter mentioned, the exhaust from the new Multistrada.

if its water cooled then it looks like a sorta crusier style streetfighter really, the thing is definitely a different direction, looks like all they might be doing is sort of putting a larger rear wheel and tail on the bike really, with the extra stuff the air ducts and such just to balance out the weighty look of the back.
