double post from the main forum.

Bike was stolen from my GARAGE which is in an ALLEYWAY in russian hill area.  came downstairs this morning and my garage door was open (opener is touchy so it's possibly i accidentally hit it again after i started to close it).

Here's the deets:
Lic: 17P1175
VIN: zdm1raan85b068752
Model: Red (with white stripe) 2005 s2r 800
Distinguishing features: quat-d ex-box exhaust, dual headlights, NO front windshield, bar-end mirrors, rear seat cowl.

If any of you see it, please drop kick whomever is riding it, unless it's your friend, then please ask them nicely to return it to me, no questions asked.  then get new friends cuz that em-phucker was stalking me.

i have since taken off the windshield.

thank you all.

That sucks, man. Sorry to hear about it.

I'm a big fan of keeping a snarling Pit Bull chained to your bikes  bang head

Sorry to hear it. I don't live too far from that area; I'll watch for it.

You should email the DA, she might get some extra peeps on this one.  Kinda makes me want to get a disc lock for my bike.

I would be on top of craigslist not only here in sf but other cities too, as well as ebay.  If these guys were half intelligent they'd probably post parts for sale in san jose or sacramento, not in the city they jacked it in.  Hope you find the bastards.

I hear a lot of this GARAGE theft recently. SUCKS! Good thing mine is rigged to shotguns if you drill the lock.

Good luck man.
