Help locating 14t sprocket install guide/instructions

Howdy,

I am having trouble finding a decent 14t sprocket install thread.  Anyone have one bookmarked?  I don't normally have trouble searching, but this one is eluding me.

Well - what model of Monster? It varies. For me it's just remove a couple screws that hold a retainer plate on the spocket, slack the chain on my DSS n' go... for others it's more complicated.

2007 S4RT.  I read something about removing the clutch slave cyl, but that does not seem necessary on my bike.

It's not necessary - but helps a lot. It's just removing the 3 bolts that secure it to the case. Having it out of the way makes slipping off the sprocket /w the chain worlds easier.

Ok - having never owned a SSS Monsters - I'm punting a bit. But:
1. With the bike on the ground (and a buddy hanging on) loosen the retainer nut on the ouput shaft. I believe you have one big nut, as opposed to my older style, two small screws. Remove said retainer parts
2. Remove clutch slave
3. Loosen pinch bolts on the eccentric hub and slack the chain as much as possible
4. Wriggle drive socket off the end of the output shaft. This will take a little working back and forth. This may be facilitated w/ WD-40 or the like if it's sticking. IT should come off w/o might fight.
5. Swap spocket
6. Reverse 4-1

Like I said - I've only had DSS monsters with the older retainer system - so take my instructions with a grain of salt.

its not necessary, but it will make your task alot easier. i have a 09 monster 1100, and i removed the slave when i went to the 14t sprocket. it only takes a minute to pull the slave, and probably saved me 10 minutes of wrestling  with the chain.
