So I just got off the phone with Oncycles regarding replacement parts for some Cyclecat clipons. I was told that they are considering starting up production again for the Cyclecat line if there is enough interest. So if anyone is interested please put a call in to Oncycles and ask them about Cyclecat and maybe if they get enough calls they will start producing product again.  [thumbsup]

Interesting? Yes!

They would have to go all in this time though.
I love the products and the people, but there's not much trust left.
If they made a semi-decent selection and made it clear to us and vendors that they
are serious and willing to invest - then maybe.

Of course they would have to include all the new models as well, to make any money.

We've heard this same exact thing... many many times, for nearly 5 years now and I just don't think it's going to happen.

tried to send an email on their website but kept failing.  oh well.

Same story different day/year.  If they get enough orders to cover costs they will produce products on our dime.  Support a vendor/shop that actually stocks or will get a product for you.

While I was on the phone with them they also stated they were moving..... again.

I'd like to see them start production again. I had one of their triples and gear covers. Top of the line. Problem is with the economy the way it is, very little money is being fed to that market. And most people do not want to wait for the product once they've made thier decision to buy. (SpeedyMoto) Hope all works out for them though. Alex put out some great stuff.
08' S2R 1K   That was close  damn near lost a $400 hand cart.

Too funny.  They should have sold off their designs / IP a few years ago before the relentless march of model innovation made them completely irrelevant.

Alex wasn't involved with them for the final years due to some contractual disagreements from what I understand.  Alex O. still does freelance machine work for individuals and custom Ducati sportbike builds for himself and a few customers.  I'm sure he is always looking for additional work given the economy in Michigan...

I only dealt with him between 00' and 02'. Not sure when he left, and I normally don't "name drop" however the few times we conversed, it was with utmost respsect. He clearly wanted his products to be the best and in MHO they were.
