M1100 sidestand fit on M696?

I had the suspension on my '09 M696 adjusted, including raised.  Rides much better.  However, on the stock M696 sidestand the bike is waaaaay over.  Is the M1100 sidestand longer?  Will it simply bolt on?

M1100 sidestand is longer than M696.  But will it bolt straight on?  I have NFI.

hey unge. thought someone said the 1100 and 696 stands were the same length, just the 1100 leaned more?

Yup.  Someone did say that.  Someone said that someone told them that they were the same length.  I think (having owned both) that someone is not correct

I dunno, I cant remember what the M696 mount looks like.   Mark @ motocreations would probably know....
