Any S2R 1000 owners raise their forks?

I have my rear ride height cranked all the way up and my suspension is set up as good as I can get it. Despite all that, I just cannot get my bike to finish a turn. I find myself climbing up over the gas tank and cranking my head way out in front to try to get a tight line. I have no such troubles with my pos R6. I am pretty convinced I need to raise my forks in the triples. Anybody else done so with this bike? How far did you go?

ive done 15mm max with stock rear. Too twitchy for me.

right now im running stock and yea i know what you mean about finishing wide. Im not sure how to correct it, unless its a characteristic trait of the way monsters are setup. I know its a huge thing for 848/1098. They make 30mm triples to "fix" this problem.

if you're looking for more trail you should lower the forks (raise the front), every 4 mm of fork moving relates to 1mm of trail change aprox.
did the bike do this before or started doing this after raising the rear?
what I usually do to cure exiting wide in a turn assuming geometry is good is add some compression to the rear, if this helps but doesn't cure the problem check spring and sag in the rear (30mm rs aprox).
correct me if I'm wrong but you're talking about exiting the turn on the gas, right?

Heman, did you have the rear ride height maxed out at the same time? Also was this before or after you upgraded your suspension? In what situations was it twitchy? I have replaced all (3) springs with what should be the correct ones for my weight but that is all I can afford to do right now. I think that the the valving needs to be changed to really get the benefit of having the correct springs. Devimau, I will end up with less trail. It has never wanted to finish a turn since I bought it. I have my sag set as good as I can get it. My stock shock does not have compression adjustability. Yes, I am talking about finishing the turn on the gas. I have tried adding more preload in the rear but that roughens up the ride too much.
